Beyond the Gen AI Hype
Why Data Sensitive and High-Stakes Software Needs an Analyst, Not a Cheerleader
We are currently in the “Gold Rush” phase of Generative AI. Every day, there is a new “wrapper” tool, a new prompt hack, or a new “expert” promising to 10x your engineering velocity.
But for those of us who have spent our careers analyzing software with sensitive data, and other high-stakes environments, you know that the mantra of “moving fast and breaking things” is risky business. In the world of regulated software development, a “broken thing” isn’t just a bug, it’s a compromised attorney-client privilege, a breach of data security, or a failed compliance audit.
Having served as a Senior Analyst in environments where data integrity is the main currency. Digital transformation is 20% about the technology and 80% about the governance, requirements, and process.
AI is no different. If you are building or buying AI tools for your company or small to medium business software development team, you aren’t just looking for “features.” You are looking for a fact-checking engine.
I have recently become a Google Cloud Certified Generative AI Leader. My goal in pursuing this is to provide my independent, research driven intelligence that bridges the gap between “tech hype” and “reality for high stakes environments.”
The focus is on helping professionals and leaders in development teams (such as Software Product Managers, CTOs, VPs of Engineering) answer the questions that determine long-term valuation and security:
The SDLC Question: How do we integrate reliable AI solutions without accumulating “hallucination debt”?
The Sovereignty Question: How do we ensure our firm’s “Work Product” stays within secure cloud boundaries and isn’t used to train a competitor’s model?
The Governance Question: How do we move from “Vibe Coding” to a “Closed-Loop” system that satisfies the most rigorous security controls?
At Kikiing Technology, we teach prompting as well as provide the Research and Advisory necessary for you to understand the generative AI landscape and technical vocabulary as you develop your organization’s AI roadmaps. We deliver insights and market research to help you judge which vendors are vetted for high stakes and which are merely “wrappers.”
I believe that the path forward isn’t “AI at all costs”; it’s AI with Accountability.
I’ll be sharing my research and lessons learned from the field here. If you’re a professional or a leader in the Software Development space trying to navigate this transition with your eyes wide open, let’s connect.
